Movie Reel

I liked Rango. I'm not usually a huge fan of animation but I didn't mind that one, I think because it was a bit more adult.

The Devil's Double I thought was very well made and I was impressed by how Dominic Coooper played both characters. You know the actor is doing a good job when you can tell the distinction between the two characters.

And then of course there are a few "class" movies in there. When we were in Roatan we all got a little under the weather with either bad water or the heat so we took it easy and watched movies a few times.  There's nothing like The Saint, or Robin Hood. Just such great movies!

Movie Reel

One Day was really sad. It was good, but sad! I don't like movies that go that way.

Breaking Dawn, well, I loved it but as usual with the Twilight movies there's so much missing and they're just made it so for teens and divert from the book too much, but I love it all the same! It's just nice to see books that I love so much turn into movies.

Life in a Day was wonderful. Such a great documentary. Everyone should watch it.

Movie Reel

Midnight in Paris -  I thought this movie was really cute and dreamy. A little slow moving but I think that was part of it...I just get a little board when it's so slow.

Captain America - I'd watch it again right now I think. I really enjoyed this one. A nice mix of action with a little love and heroism. 

The Help - A must see. Also a tear jerker. I would see it again for sure and now I need to read the book. I really liked how the movie flowed and how well they explained the characters through their fashion, houses and just attitudes.

Drive Angry- Never watch it, it's a horrible movie and a total waste of your time.

Everything Must Go- Totally different from any other movie Will Ferrell is usually in. It was alright but really slow movie, but not in a good way (to me at least).

Hereafter- I really enjoyed this one. It pulls you in from the very beginning.

The Way Back- Was excellent. It's a powerful movie and I love how they really took their time. It made it a little slow at parts but it really made it dynamic where it counted.

The Change-up- Dirty nasty movie, don't watch it. Ryan, I'm disappointment in your picks lately for the movies you do.  You know how you sometimes pick a movie because you know the actor that is in it usually does pretty good movies? Ya, that's what I thought I was doing! He's off my list of guaranteed good times!

Battle-LA- That is a truth blood American movie if there ever was one! Good action though.

Fright Night- Didn't like it. I usually like vampire stuff, but it just, I don't know, I just didn't like it.

I had seen Under the Tuscan Sun a long time ago but it was on one night so I watched it and I had forgotten how good it was! It makes me want to go back to Italy!

Crazy Stupid Love is a must see. I wasn't too sure what it expect; I find most comedies now a days too dirty and they just cross the line into nasty but this one was totally family friendly, super cute, romantic and hilarious! I am definitely going to watch it again and again.

Jane Eyre was also very good. I hadn't really read or heard anything about her story so I didn't know what to expect but I just loved the movie. I love that time and I love who they cast and the cinematography.
